In a move that surprised almost no one, Valve has announced that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s beta would be delayed. Originally, the beta was planned for October, but when Halloween showed up, Counter-Strike players stopped holding their breath. Chet Faliszek delivered the news in an interview with Eurogamer: “There’s going to be things we’re going to release it with knowing we need to add more, to do more. But just knowing there’s some feel and some just operating the game issues that need to be resolved first. We want to get those done first.”
As far as we know, the plan is still to release Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in early 2012. But Valve is at the helm, so you might want to be flexible. By Josh Engen |
