Creative Director Gives Update On BioShock Infinite DLC

After receiving unanimous critical acclaim, the excitement surrounding BioShock Infinite has since died down. However, the game has kept a degree of anticipation about it with its confirmed DLC season pass, said to include three expansions offering new weapons, abilities, storylines, and even a new AI companion in place of Elizabeth. Unfortunately, updates on the first DLC release have been all but nonexistent—until now.

Irrational Games creative director Ken Levine recently tweeted an update on the content’s status: “DLC Update: We are working on it—have been since the game shipped.” Levin went

The “delay for quality” matches up with Infinite ’s repeated delays, and served the original game well, so there’s truly no reason to complain. The first content batch will likely hit within the coming months—which is all the date estimating we can muster at this time. Returning to their previous silence tactic, Levine responded “We can’t until we can,” when questioned about further details.
