Harmonix briefly demonstrated Dance Central 2 during Microsoft’s E3 media briefing today. The most important new feature shown on stage was two-player simultaneous dancing, as the first Dance Central only tracked one player’s movements at a time. Dance Central 2 will also feature voice recognition, (a major theme at the conference – apparently Microsoft is making a voice recognition push) a new campaign mode, and improvements to the Break it Down tutorial mode.  In addition, players will be able to import the entire library of songs from the original Dance Central into the new game, providing them with a total of over 100 tracks to which they can shake their hips. |
