Dark Souls Delayed

Dark Souls Delayed

None

Demon’s Souls fans, we have some bad news for you: you are going to have to wait a little bit longer to bang your head against your TV in frustration. Dark Souls, the “spiritual successor” to Demon’s Souls, has unfortunately been delayed. Thought it was originally slated to come out on September 15th fans of the game will have to wait a long time to play it—a whole week. Yep, the date has been changed to September 22nd.

What possible reason could they have to delay the game just one week? You can’t get much design done in that time frame, after all. In fact, the game would probably be totally complete far before that week even comes. From Software, the game’s developer, said that “various circumstances” caused the delay, but they did not go into deeper details than that. It’s strange and mysterious.

Oh well, late September is better than never, and we’d be complete jerks if we complained about a game having a delay that is too short.
