Destiny is at an end. We all know Rise of Iron is the expansion that will end it all. Now, Activision and Bungie are confirming and celebrating this entry’s finale before the sequel with Destiny: The Collection . It comes out on the same day as Rise of Iron, September 20, and gives you absolutely everything.
Think of Destiny: The Collection as a game of the year edition. It begins with Destiny , then gives you The Dark Below, House of Wolves, The Taken King, and Rise of Iron, as well as a level 40 character boost that will put you on par with people who’ve been playing since launch. There’s even a Iron Gjallarhorn Rocket Launcher in black and silver, should people decide to pre-order. It’s a pretty nice package for $60.
Since this is Gamescom 2016 week, you know what’s coming. That’s right, Destiny: The Collection has a new trailer promoting it. In case you don’t know what the base game and its four expansions look like, this is a pretty solid glimpse.
