Tonight, Activision took the stage at Sony’s PS4 event to announce that a well-known Xbox developer will finally be bringing their latest title to PlayStation platforms. That developer is BUNGiE and they will be gracing the PS4 and the PS3 with their brand new project: Destiny.
Destiny is a “persistent world” shooter that will allow you to create and grow your character along with other players. The game will include both co-op and competitive play, and lots of thought is being put into how the game handles in both modes.
Currently, BUNGiE has not yet revealed whether PS3 and PS4 players will be able to play together. However, the PS4’s capabilities to immediately share gameplay, drop into other player’s games, and stream gaming content, are sure to make this shooter quite an attraction.
We will probably hear more about Destiny at E3 and will keep you in the loop.
