Despite a shaky launch, Diablo III has managed to shatter PC sales records. Within the first twenty four hours of the game’s release, more than 3.5 million copies had be sold, which sets Diablo III as the record holder for fastest-selling PC game of all time. That’s quite impressive, especially when this number doesn’t even factor in the 1.2 million players who received Diablo III for free by signing up for a World of Warcraft Annual Pass. As of now, Diablo III has sold over 6.3 million copies.
