On Monday it was announced that Ronnie James Dio (of Black Sabbath and Dio fame) was no longer going to voice the character of Doviculus in Tim Schafer’s Brutal Legend. Today it has been confirmed by creator Tim Schafer himself that Dio was dropped in favor of Tim Curry (Clue, Legend, It): “Ronnie James Dio is an amazing singer and truly one of the great figures of Metal, but as the character of Doviculus evolved, we realized that Tim Curry was a better fit for the part.”
