According to a CVG posting, British scribe Graham Joyce has been given the nod from id Software to pen the next entry in the Doom franchise. Graham’s novels and short stories tend to deal with the mystical and even supernatural phenomenon. He is best known for his work on Dreamside (1991), Dark Sister (1993), Requiem (1996), The Tooth Fairy (1997), Indigo (2000), and The Facts of Life (2003) He has won the British Fantasy Award for best novel on four separate occasions and the World Fantasy Award for best novel once. The man is no stranger to compelling fiction, and it is hoped that Doom 4 will be every bit as engaging as the rest of his body of work.
