Dracula Unleashed Cheats & Cheat Codes for DOS, Macintosh, and Sega CD

Dracula Unleashed Cheats & Cheat Codes for DOS, Macintosh, and Sega CD

In 1993, Illinois-based developer ICOM Simulations, Inc. developed Dracula Unleashed for the DOS, Macintosh, and Sega CD. This title is revolutionary as it is one of the earliest titles to use full-motion video heavily. Dracula Unleashed is one of the pioneers of the FMV genre alongside Night Trap, Sewer Shark, and Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective. The game was praised for its interactivity and was known as the most effective interactive movie of the time. The Sega CD port unfortunately received some criticism for its slow cursor and painstakingly long loading times.

The Premise Of Dracula Unleashed

In this title, the player takes on the role of Alexander Morris, a businessman who has come to London to research the strangeness of his brother’s death. The gameplay is in line with other FMV titles. The game relies upon pre-recorded live actors and the player uses a cursor to interact with the game. Since this title pioneered this genre the mechanics were admittedly simple. The game is more of a movie than a game but it has a phenomenal story to tell with a great soundtrack to boot.

The Main Characters Of Dracula Unleashed

  • Alexander Morris – A young Texas businessman who comes to London during the winter of 1899 to research the strange surroundings involving his brother Quincey’s death 10 years earlier.
  • Quincey Morris – The brother of Alexander who was murdered before the game’s plot begins.
  • Lord Arthur Holmwood – Quincey’s good friend, and proposer of Alexander’s induction into the mysterious and exclusive Hades Club.
  • Count Dracula – Legendary vampire and this game’s antagonist.

Other Titles In the Series

This title is not a part of a series as this is the only release.
