Originally pushed back from 2007 to 2008 then delayed till March 2009, Dragon Quest IX is now getting pushed back even further to July 2009. According to a Square Enix quote published by Kotaku, “The sale date has been changed to July 11 in order to give us [Square Enix] enough time to improve and inspect this title.” It appears bugs are plaguing the game. This delay applies to the Japanese release, which, of course, will trickle down to North America.
