Dungeon Defenders Purchased One Million Times

In a recent interview with Joystiq, the publishers of indie hit Dungeon Defenders said that their game has logged over one million paid downloads across Xbox LIVE, PSN, and Steam. The game launched October 19th, giving it less than four months to reach this monolithic sales number.

“It is tremendously successful franchise,” said Doug Kennedy, Reverb Publishing CEO. “We have lots of plans to support it both with DLC and additional add-ons for the franchise.”



The DLC support he spoke of includes Holiday DLC, the New Heroes Pack, the Barbarian character, Assault Mission Pack, Nightmare Mode and more, all of which is exclusive to the Steam version of the game. However, there are more updates in the pipeline for console versions as well.
