People are on-point with their E3 2016 leaks. They have already found images of the Xbox One S, way ahead of Microsoft’s press conference. Think of it as an Xbox One Slim, because that’s exactly what it is. It’s smaller, slimmer, and whiter than the original Xbox One.
Despite the size, Microsoft has packed a lot more into it. The Xbox One S is 40% smaller than the original system. It comes with a 2TB hard drive standard, compared to the 500GB one that basic Xbox Ones included. It also supports 4K Ultra HD video and High Dynamic Range (HDR). Its controller has been retooled a bit as well. It also can be displayed horizontally or vertically, thanks to an included stand.
The only thing we don’t know now are price and release date. Hey, that gives us a reason to watch Microsoft’s press conference tomorrow at 9:30am CT/12:30pm ET. Given the size and scope, this little Xbox One S is certainly appealing!
