E3 Content Popular at PlayStation Home

E3 Content Popular at PlayStation Home

None

Like last year, Sony put a virtual E3 space in the PlayStation Home where people could check out what Sony had on the show floor and watch their keynote address on big virtual screens. This was a popular draw last year, and over 250,000 users logged on to join in the fun. However, during 2011’s E3, Sony broke some serious records. There were more than double last year’s users in the special E3 area of PlayStation Home.

In addition to the video screens and replica booth, several Sony reps were on hand inside home to give out interviews and show off game demos. Though PlayStation Home hasn’t been the most popular online destination over the years, the unique E3 coverage provided by the virtual space is certainly a very cool feature, and I’m sure even more PlayStation enthusiasts will be checking it out next year.
