Today DICE revealed that maps and modes we can look forward to when Battlefield 1 launches on October 21. Overall we have a pretty varied offering here which should keep us busy until the initial wave of DLC breaks. The ten maps and six modes are as follows:
Maps:
- Ballroom Blitz
- Argonne Forest
- FAO Fortress
- Suez
- The St. Quentin Scar
- Sinai Desert
- Amiens
- Monte Grappa
- Empire’s Edge
- Giant’s Shadow (free in December)
Modes:
- Conquest
- Domination
- Operations
- Rush
- War Pigeons
- Team Deathmatch
All of these modes will be familiar to most, with the exception of “War Pigeons.” In this historically accurate game mode, both teams will chase and attempt to capture a carrier pigeon and bring it back to their base. Once captured and returned, the carrier pigeon can be released and an artillery strike will be called down upon your foes. Day one.
