Epic-scale RPG Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning isn’t hitting store shelves until February 7, but Xbox 360 gamers anxious to see the amalgam work of Ken Rolston, R.A. Salvatore, and Todd McFarlane before the game’s official release will get their chance next week, when a demo of the upcoming title hits the Xbox LIVE marketplace. Word comes down from Xbox’s own Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb, who snuck the demo announcement into his weekly downloadable release list. It’s truly a bountiful time for action fans, with the Asura’s Wrath demo hitting today and Kingdoms of Amalur, which dresses its RPG core in intense action mechanics, giving gamers an early appetizer on Tuesday, January 17.
