Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time was announced today in Jump Magazine. The game will release exclusively for Nintendo consoles on January 29, 2009 in Japan. The new Crystal Chronicles title will be released simultaneously for both the Wii and DS. The game will be loaded with multiplayer options, including cross-platform play. Cross-platform play will be possible due to the development of the Pollux Engine. In other words, players will be able to play together with both their consoles simultaneously via Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as around the world with full online capability. Look for more Nintendo exclusives with cross-platform capability in the future because of the development of the Pollux Engine. |
