I always enjoy a good pop culture reference wherever it may be found. Whether that’s a television show referencing an Internet meme, a Japanese anime paying homage to a classic American film (I’m looking at you Eden of the East ), or a video game including a cross-over character from something else. I simply adore those moments of recognition, and they make my little heart flutter every time. Most recently there’s a game that I might just buy for a simple cross-over. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has included a very familiar face in their fourth Zombies map: Attack of the Radioactive Thing. Within the television studio, on a 1950s beachfront stage, you’ll find the gothic beauty that is Elvira.
The Mistress of the Dark has two simple quests for you to complete. Getting through them will allow you to summon her to help you fight the undead. She’s apparently really good at it. Not only that, but she can unlock the Projector Room. Just look up in the sky for blue light. That’ll lead you to a teleportation portal, and bringing Elvira through will lead you to a surprise.
Call of Duty Zombies is ridiculously fun to play already, but bring Elvira into anything and I’m sure to flock to it. What about you? Are you going to seek out Elvira to kill some zombies with you?
