According to reports from Siliconera from as of yet unnamed sources, several new characters are going to be added into the Street Fighter V roster. Their source has told them that both Alex and Urien from Street Fighter III will be joining the cast, which says interesting things for Nash’s storyline.
Shortly after reporting about Alex and Urien, Siliconera went on to announced that Karin Kanzuki and R. Mika, two fan favorites from the Street Fighter Alpha series, will also be joining the roster. Normally, we would be skeptical of this, but Birdie, another character who has only shown his face in the Alpha series, was the fifth revealed character for Street Fighter V . Though many fans would probably say that revealing Karin before Sakura, the most well known schoolgirl Street Fighter, would be blasphemy.
Not wanting to be left out, Yoshinori Ono also get in on the craze. Dressing up like Blanka around a number of Blanka figurines, he said that a certain Brazillian Street Fighter will be joining the cast. Wouldn’t this be an awesome bait and switch if it turned out to be Sean instead of Blanka?
