Friday the 13th: The Game Delayed Until 2017

Don’t worry about heading to camp this year. You have a reprieve from facing Jason. Friday the 13th: The Game has been delayed. A Kickstarter project not arriving on schedule? I’m absolutely shocked!

Don’t worry, though. This is the good sort of delay. It turns out Friday the 13th: The Game is being delayed to make it better. When first announced, it was an asymmetric multiplayer-only game. Now that it’s being delayed, single player will be added. You can add bots and play by yourself. Also, Tommy Jarvis will be added as a playable character and a Packanack Lodge map is being made.

Some people are going to get to play Friday the 13th: The Game this year. Closed beta codes are going to be sent out to the Kickstarter backers before 2016 ends. Each one of them will give a key for the backer and four others for their friends, so maybe now’s a good time to see if you know anyone who supported this game so you can play?
