Every year, GameStop employees are able to go to the GameStop Expo, a gaming convention which shows off brand new titles alongside having video game-themed events. Think of it as a mini E3 exclusive to GameStop employees.

Well, for the first time ever, GameStop is opening up this year’s PowerUp Expo to the general public.



Taking place on August 29th at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX, the GameStop PowerUp Expo can be attended by anyone who is a PowerUp Rewards Member and has thirty-five bucks to cover admission. You can also pay a hundred dollars to get special VIP access, which will give you “up to four in-depth sessions with some of the biggest names in gaming, access to VIP-only lines, and entrance to the VIP gaming lounge.”
