A while back, there was a rumor that Epic Games would be working on a new Gears of War title called Gears of War: Exile. Exile was speculated to be a Kinect title that could possibly be an on-rails shooter, in development at Epic’s Cary, North Carolina studio. Unfortunately, it seems as if this title will never see the light of day. Epic design director, Cliff Bleszinski, told GameSpot over the weekend that the project has been trashed. “Let’s just bury the hatchet now,” he said. “Gears of War: Exile was an unannounced game that I can’t give any details about that has since been cancelled.”
