According to Binge Gamer, while “speaking with 1 vs. 100 LIVE host Chris Cashman during the August 1st live game,” Epic Games’ Cliff Bleszinski was asked if female COGs would ever find their way into Gears of War. In typical non-committal fashion, Mr. Bleszinski stated that “he could not comment on ‘possible aspects’ of a game that ‘may or may not’ be in development.” However, he soon followed up that shallow answer with a more interesting rejoinder. He intimated that female COGs were indeed a possibility when he mentioned that the female Gear perched on the ghastly head of a slain Brumak “on the cover of a Gears of War comic book ‘may or may not’ be involved in any ‘as-yet-unannounced’ video game projects.” We’ll take that as indirect confirmation.
