Get Your Darkrai On

It’s time for another Pokémon distribution event! In a recent release from Nintendo, the company revealed that, as of May 9 (that’s about a week ago, for those without calendars), Darkrai was made available to owners of Pokemon White and Black through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. This level 50 version of Darkrai has the Dark Void, Faint Attack, Ominous Wind, and Nightmare moves, as well as a Bad Dreams ability that causes him to deal damage to a sleeping opponent on each turn.

Those who wish to obtain him must simply use the Mystery Gift option from the main menu of their copy of the game, then select “Receive Gift” and “Via Nintendo WFC.” This must be done while connected to a wireless router/access point and with less than 11 wonder cards already in the player’s possession. At that point, speaking to the delivery courier in the Pokémon Center with an empty space in one’s party will net the player a Darkrai.

Act quickly, though; the promotion only runs until June 10.
