Here’s your monthly public service announcement, Pokémon X, Y, Alpha Sapphire, and Omega Ruby players. A new free, legendary Pokémon is waiting for you. It’s now possible to download Jirachi to your Nintendo 3DS game of choice until April 24.
The best part is, you don’t have to go to a GameStop to get the Jirachi. This Pokémon distribution event is happening over the Nintendo Network. All you have to do is go into the Mystery Gift menu on one of the Pokémon 3DS games listed above. Then, choose to get a character over the internet. You’ll download a Jirachi to your game. Nice, right?
There are also some special Jirachi toys at Toys R Us stores. You can get a stuffed toy or a small, plastic figure. Those plushies are going fast, though, so don’t be too disappointed if you head to the store and find you missed out.
