While Guillermo del Toro is probably better known as the director of Hellboy or Pan’s Labyrinth, he has never made it a secret that he was a fan of video games. However, according to an interview with MTV, the director will apparently soon be making his own.  In this interview del Toro states “One of the things we’re announcing in the next few weeks is a big deal with a big company. We’re going to do games that are going to be technically and narratively very interesting. It’s not a development deal. We’re going to do it. We’re doing them. And we’re going to announce it soon enough.” While no further details were given, we should hopefully find out exactly what he’s working on in the very near future. |
