High Voltage, developer of the Wii exclusive FPS The Conduit, may be in some financial troubles. According to a report from Joystiq citing a “trusted” source, the company has just lost at least twenty to thirty of its employees to layoffs. The source also claims that the final number could actually wind up being even higher than thirty.
These actions seem fairly odd considering the company is still hard at work on both Conduit 2 and The Grinder. The company has yet to substantiate these claims; however, if they are true, there is no telling how this could potentially affect the development of these two upcoming titles.
