Hitman PlayStation Store Pre-orders Cancelled

Hitman PlayStation Store Pre-orders Cancelled

Here’s something weird. Some Hitman pre-orders were mysteriously cancelled, but only if they were placed through the PlayStation Store. People started receiving messages from Sony saying their pre-order was cancelled. The official reason was, “The publisher has notified us that the configuration of the product you pre-ordered has changed significantly.” How? That’s a good question!

Unfortunately, it’s also one without an immediate answer. Hitman ‘s official Twitter has only told people not to worry about it. The game will still be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on March 11. However, the only thing it also said is that, “We’re adjusting a few things and will update in a few days.”

This iteration of Hitman does something rather different. People are basically buying an early access version of the game. At launch, you only get Paris, Marrakesh, and Sapienza locations with six campaign missions and 800 target contracts. Additional content will arrive in April, May, and June.
