Hollywood Talent Revealed for Black Ops

None

If there is one thing that can be said about Activision, it’s that they don’t skimp when it comes to getting voice actors for their high profile games. Over the years, we’ve seen plenty of Hollywood actors taking on the role of in-game characters in Activision’s games, and their upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops won’t be bucking this trend. According to a press release, Black Ops will include voice work from both Ed Harris and Gary Oldman, not to mention story consultation and support from filmmaker David S. Goyer.

Oldman will be familiar to anyone who played Call of Duty: World at War, as he starred as Viktor Reznov, the role he will be reprising for Black Ops. Ed Harris, on the other hand, will be voicing a CIA operative named Jason Hudson. About this Hollywood talent, Treyarch head Mark Lamia states “Oldman, Harris and Goyer are considered some of the finest talents and they perfectly complement Call of Duty: Black Ops’ ambitious and immersive single-player experience.” Lamia continues “Their contributions have helped us to push the boundaries of our story telling and character development far beyond anything we have ever attempted before in the franchise.”
