Indie Fighter Legend of Raven Coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PS Vita

Indie Fighter Legend of Raven Coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PS Vita

Legend of Raven , otherwise known to the hardcore fighting crowd as Yatagarasu: Attack on Cataclysm , is hopping off the PC platform and onto consoles. The indie 2D fighting title made by former SNK and King of Fighters developers will release on the Xbox One, PS4, and PS Vita. The game was originally going to release on the 3DS, but switched portable platforms to the Vita this August. However, this is the first we are hearing about any planned console release.

Legend of Raven will make use of the much loved GGPO netcode for fighting games. The game will also be able to be played locally via PS Vita wireless connection. The PS Vita and PS4 versions of Legend of Raven will feature cross-play and cross-buy functionality. This means that players will be able to fight each other across both platforms and that purchasing one version of the game will let you both. The Xbox One version has no such tie-in promotions.

Legend of Raven is unique in that it features a “color commentary” system from popular fighting-game personalities. The console version of the game will be almost identical to the PC version, although a few graphics will be touched up and the soundtrack will be redone.

A final release date for Legend of Raven has not been announced, but you can likely expect it to hit consoles next year. We will bring you more information on Legend of Raven’s release as it becomes available.
