It’s 2016 and We’re Still Getting Yu-Gi-Oh Games

It’s 2016 and We’re Still Getting Yu-Gi-Oh Games

I don’t quite know how to process this. Despite so many years having passed, Yu-Gi-Oh games are being made. Moreover, they’re being released outside of Japan! Back at the 2015 Jump Festa , Konami revealed it had three Yu-Gi-Oh! games in development. All we knew is that they were coming to the Nintendo 3DS, smartphones, and Windows PCs in 2016. But now, it’s confirmed that they’re being released worldwide! Again!

The first title we’ll see is Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links . It’s an iOS and Android game that will appear on iTunes and Google Play this spring. Screenshots and details are unavailable at the moment, but it could be a follow up to the free-to-play Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation , which was released for smartphones in 2014. Duel Generation hasn’t received an update since April 6, 2015, after all

The remaining two Yu-Gi-Oh! games for 2016 are still too early in the development process to have titles. At the moment, they’re being referred to as Yu-Gi-Oh ! for the Nintendo 3DS and Yu-Gi-Oh! Online Game ( catchy!). The Nintendo 3DS game will be released this summer, and the Windows PC online game is set for this winter.
