John Shappert Resigns From Zynga

None

Former EA and Microsoft bigwig John Schappert resigned from Zynga yesterday.

Schappert joined Zynga as chief operating officer in May 2011. Zynga has said that he leaves as “a friend to the company” and that he has “made significant contributions to the games industry throughout his career.” They have said that this resignation was not connected with any disagreement with the company’s policies or practices.

Schappert has not commented on his departure, nor do we know where he will be heading next.

We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
