Just Cause 3: Multiplayer Mod, a fan-made project by development group Nanos, is now listed on Steam and has a release date. Just Cause 3 fans will finally be able to interact with each other on July 20. Go grab some friends!
With Nanos’ mod, hundreds of Just Cause 3 players can join together in a server and push the sandbox-style gameplay to its limits. New game modes, which were crowdsourced by the Just Cause 3 community are a part of the mod, which adds all kinds of extra kinds of play to the game. Listed on the Steam page are options like deathmatch, racing, multiplayer skydiving, and of course, free roam.
This tool is open to some degree, as part of the feature list includes the ability for players to create new game modes. Nanos provides full instructions on how to install and use the mod, as well as an open forum to ask and answer questions from the community about the mod on the Steam page linked below. It seems like it could make Just Cause 3 relevant again!
