If there is one thing that can be said about Hideo Kojima, it is that he knows how to announce an announcement. Many of you probably remember his last outing, with the countdown site that led to another countdown and then to the announcement of Metal Gear Solid: Rising, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. It appears as though he’s back to his old ways, leaking information about an upcoming announcement in order to pique fans’ interests.  A couple tweets from Kojima were spotted by Andriasang that reveal he will potentially be making an announcement over the coming weekend. The first tweet reads “Typhoon 4. It looks like it won’t have an effect on the weekend. Thank goodness! However, my health is bad. Prior to TGS, we’ll have a big announcement (?) on Saturday or Sunday, so I must recover.” Quick to put an end to any possible Zone of the Enders 3 talk he followed up tweeting “ZOE3 and so forth — it’s not that big an announcement. However, I think you will be happy.” We’ll let you know when we find out what this announcement is for, or if Kojima’s poor health delays the reveal. |
