Kojima’s Weekend Announcement

Kojima’s Weekend Announcement

None

Last week we reported that Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima had tweeted that he’d be making an announcement over the weekend. He had stated that it wouldn’t be as big as announcing a Zone of the Enders 3, but he’d hoped it would still please his fans. While his announcements certainly weren’t huge, as Kojima stated, they will probably please fans.

According to Andriasang, Kojima made a few announcements including a Peace Walker “drama CD” with fifty minutes of newly recorded drama content (including songs) from the game, Kojima Productions being put in charge of the Japanese voice acting for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, and a possible sequel to Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Apparently, Lords of Shadow’s audio will be making use of a few voice actors from the Metal Gear camp, including the voices of Solid Snake and Drebin.

While the Peace Walker sequel talk wasn’t a formal announcement, Kojima mentioned it during his Q and A session. He stated that because of the game’s success they would want to “make something that can be played on consoles but carried with you to a portable.” Kojima also stated that he couldn’t say whether that game would be a direct sequel or not.
