While I can’t even pretend to be knowledgeable about Spider-Man comics, I have still been intrigued by the concept of the upcoming Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. Taking four versions of Spidey from four different comic book dimensions and cramming them into a single game seems like it’d make for an interesting experience. It also makes for a good marketing campaign, slowly releasing which versions of everyone’s favorite webslinger are being included in the title.  Unfortunately for Activision’s PR, someone over at GameFly got an itchy clicking finger, posting the final box art for the game, thereby revealing the last unknown version of the superhero. Judging by the picture, it looks like the black symbiote suit will be the final playable version of Spider-Man in Shattered Dimensions. While this will likely take some of the wind out of the upcoming Shattered Dimensions Comic-Con panel’s sails, I’m sure there will still be plenty of unknown information left to convey. |
