Although Mass Effect 3 was poised to be one of the biggest releases of this year’s holiday season, it looks like gamers will have to wait a little bit longer to check this one out as Bioware announced that the game has been delayed until 2012. Mass Effect 3’s Executive Producer Casey Hudson had this to say about the situation, “Today we have confirmed that Mass Effect 3 will be released in the first three months of 2012. The development team is laser focused on making sure Mass Effect 3 is the biggest, boldest and best game in the series, ensuring that it exceeds everyone’s expectations.”  Of course the Mass Effect series has had moderate success launching in the first quarter of the year, as Mass Effect 2 did quite well when it was released in January 2010. Hopefully Mass Effect 3 will enjoy that same success. |
