When I say Damon you say Affleck! The names of these longtime Hollywood friends have been synonymous with one another for years. Now Damon gives his thoughts on the upcoming Batman vs. Superman crossover (starring his comrade).
Naturally, being besties with the man behind the mask comes with certain advantages. We learn that Matt is among the select few whom have gotten a sneak peak at the suit (others include Jennifer Garner and Kevin Smith). In regards to the look of the upcoming redesign, Damon says, “I’ve seen a picture, I have seen a picture. It’s excellent.”
As you often times find on the interwebs, we’ve seen a very split reaction to the news of Affleck’s casting. The half that doesn’t approve are making no bones about the fact that they don’t like the choice (via an excessive amount of flaming blog posts, as only true fanboys can do). Damon says he’d have no problem telling his friend exactly what he thought, even if he believed Ben was perhaps making a mistake. Yet, Matt remains optimist. “…I’ve talked to him about the storyline, and it’s great. Look I’ve known him for thirty-something years, I’d be the first guy being like ‘Buddy, what are you doing?’ but I think the movie is going to be great.” Says Damon.
