Max Payne 3 Gets Free DLC

Max Payne 3 Gets Free DLC

None

Rockstar Games has recently posted an update on how they will be handling Max Payne 3 DLC through the summer. Most notably, they have slated August’s Disorganized Crime DLC to be absolutely free. The pack introduces several new Score Attack modifiers, including Explosive Rounds, which causes all of your bullets to explode on impact; Lone Wolf, which causes your A.I. opponents to be much more aggressive; and Headshots Only, which, as the name implies, makes your opponents only killable in traditional headshot fashion.

In addition, Rockstar has merged the content from the remaining five DLC packs into three larger packs. The Hostage Negotiation Pack will drop in September, the Painful Memories Pack will drop in October, and the Deathmatch Made in Heaven Mode pack will drop in October as well. All of these packs will retail for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points. Full details on these packs have not yet been revealed, although we do know the co-op content scheduled for the previously announced New York Minute Pack has now been integrated into the Deathmatch Mode pack.

Players who have purchased the Max Payne 3 Rockstar Pass will still gain access to all Max Payne DLC, at a 35% savings over purchasing the packs individually. The Rockstar Pass is still available for purchase if you’re interested.
