Max Payne 3 DLC To Deliver Local Justice

Max Payne 3 DLC To Deliver Local Justice

None

Rockstar has announced that its gritty third-person shooter Max Payne 3 will be getting its first DLC pack next week. Entitled Local Justice, the DLC will drop for PS3 and Xbox 360 owners on July 3, while PC players will have to wait a couple of weeks to get in on the action on July 17.

Local Justice features three new multiplayer maps based on areas from the single-player game’s final chapters: the “55th Battalion HQ,” which will be available in all game modes, and the “Imperial Palace,” and “Departure Lounge,” which both can only be used in the Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Payne Killer modes.

The pack also includes a new weapon (the M4), a new faction (the Sao Paulo Police), a new item (Light Fingers for upgraded looting speed), and even some new trophies/achievements/Rockstar Social Club accomplishments.

The whole thing will cost you $5.99 on the PSN store or 480 Microsoft points, but only for the first week. After then, the price heads up to $7.99 or 640 MSP, respectively. As always, Rockstar Pass owners of the game will get the content, along with any other future DLC, at no extra charge.

There’s more, though: July 3 will also see Rockstar make all current pre-order and retail DLC available on PSN and Xbox Live, while PC owners will get the same content on July 17.

And here’s a list of that content:

  • Cemetery Map: 160 MSP / $1.99 PSN

  • Silent Killer Loadout Pack: 160 MSP / $1.99 PSN

  • Pill Bottle Item: 80 MSP / $0.99 PSN

  • Deadly Force Burst: 80 MSP / $0.99 PSN

  • Classic Max Payne Character: 80 MSP / $0.99 PSN
