Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Demo on the Way

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Demo on the Way

None

Hideo Kojima has revealed that an early access demo of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be included in the upcoming Zone of the Enders HD Collection. This same demo will be available for those who don’t buy the collection on Xbox LIVE and PSN at a later date.

The announcement came during Konami’s pre-E3 conference, as the publisher also stated that the upcoming action title will be playable in some capacity during E3 next week.

Zone of the Enders HD Collection is set to drop this holiday season for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita, and will include updated interfaces, redrawn art, and trophy and achievement support along with the usual visual and audio upgrades.

Meanwhile, Revengeance has received a new E3 trailer and, yeah, it’s nuts. If cyborg ninja killing is your thing—and I bet it is—you may want to check it out for yourself.

The next in the Metal Gear franchise has had quite the rocky history, with Bayonetta and Vanquish dev Platinum Games taking over development midway through its production, dropping the original stealth aspects of the title and turning it into the full-fledged psycho action fest it appears to be today.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be released in early 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
