Aparrently, Michael Jordan is finally coming to a basketball game. The greatest basketball player of all-time has almost never appeared in a video game before – other than Jordan vs. Bird for the Commodore 64, I can’t remember any other time. As such, it came as a real shock, despite previous specualtion, when 2K Sports confirmed to IGN’s Nate Ahearn that the legend would not only don the box art as 2K11’s cover athlete but that he’d also feature as a playable character for the Chicago Bulls – we assume a legends mode or legendary teams will be included in this year’s basketball offering. NBA 2K11 is set for an October 5, 2010 release on Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii.
