Mistborn Fantasy Novels Getting Video Game

Mistborn Fantasy Novels Getting Video Game

None

Brandon Sanderson’s New York Time Top Ten book series, Mistborn , is being brought into the video game world. Development is in the hands of Little Orbit Games, who are better known for their work on licensed games for titles such as Young Justice and Sherlock Holmes.

Mistborn: Birthright will be a sort of RPG prequel to the book series. It will take place hundreds of years in the past and will set up the events of the first novel. Sanderson himself will be writing the game’s plot and dialogue, though he will not be involved in the design process beyond that.

According to a press release, the game will be out sometime in 2013 on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Mac. Hopefully this will get gamers into what is truly an amazing series of books.
