Earlier this week, God Is Geek released a report confirming that Mortal Kombat X’s story mode is only four hours long. A trusted source made this statement after completing the single-player mode a few days ago. Mortal Kombat 9 had a seven-hour campaign and is highly regarded as one of the best entries in the series so far.
While some may complain about the story mode length, the overall general audience won’t care too much about it. Mortal Kombat X will receive the most replay value from its multiplayer mode, and really that’s all that truly matters at the end of the day.
Mortal Kombat X launches worldwide next week on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are also in development, but won’t start hitting stores until sometime during the summer.
