Mortal Kombat X Day One Patch Is Almost 2GB

Mortal Kombat X Day One Patch Is Almost 2GB

Yesterday, God Is Geek released a report confirming that Mortal Kombat X will have a day one patch roughly 2GB in size. This discovery was made by several fans who managed to pick up early copies of the game on both the PS4 and Xbox One. This update is expected to improve online stability and add multiplayer invites, gameplay fixes and balancing, localized language fixes, and overall bug fixes.

Mortal Kombat X is expected to launch worldwide on April 14 for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Xbox 360 and PS3 versions aren’t expected to hit stores until sometime later this year.

In this industry, day one patches are always a given and this news is hardly surprising. The one thing that does remain an issue is the overall size of these patches. Hopefully this is something that developers can improve in the future as we only have so much hard drive space to use nowadays.

Have any of you already got your hands on Mortal Kombat X ? If so, please feel free to let us know what you think of the game in the comments section below.
