If you’ve been waiting on pins and needles for Microsoft’s spring dashboard update, then we have good news for you: the wait is over! The update goes live today, and will finally bring Kinect functionality to the ever-popular Netflix app. However, don’t get too excited just yet.  Though the Kinect functionality will allow you to navigate through all the films in the Netflix library with Kinect’s gesture-based control, you will only be able to select “recommended” movies with your hands. You’ll need a controller to pick anything that’s not in the “recommended” section. That sounds a little disappointing to us, but if you have a Kinect, it should be at least marginally fun to play around with. |
