In a press release today, Microsoft and Epic Games have unveiled one of the first expansions (outside of the Horde Command Pack) for Gears of War 3. The expansion, called “RAAM’s Shadow,” will allow Gears fans to expand their single-player experience. RAAM’s Shadow increases the campaign size to include three hours of gameplay that takes place in a flashback before the events of the original Gears of War. It even let’s you step into the shoes of Locust leader General RAAM himself. 
RAAM’s imposing size and strength, along with his Kryll shield, make him one of the most powerful and daunting foes in the Gears universe. We think fans are going to have a blast unleashing hell upon the poor humans for the first time in a campaign setting. RAAM’s Shadow is scheduled to arrive December 13.
