Insomniac Games is the United States-based studio responsible for AAA hits like Ratchet and Clank, Resistance, Sunset Overdrive, and Spyro the Dragon. They’ve got quite a pedigree in designing lovable games, so the fact that they just released a teaser for an unannounced game should merit some level of excitement.
The camera in the trailer pans down through a colorful ocean setting, seemingly depicting parts of a sunken temple. Golden gears and other mechanical parts are shown littering the otherwise ancient looking architecture. Then the camera comes to a rest on the ocean floor before the words “Dive Deeper, January 28th, 8:30 AM CT” come into view.
Needless to say, this seems like an all new ip for the company, as none of this is even vaguely reminiscent to other titles in their catalog. I guess we’ll just have to wait until tomorrow morning to find out more. Stay tuned, as CheatCC will definitely be covering the news as it unfolds.
