If the ludicrous amount of gold coins in New Super Mario Bros. 2 wasn’t enough treasure for you, retailers have now revealed a set of pre-order bonuses for the game. Anyone who purchases the game from GameStop will receive a gold Mario pin modeled in the form of gold Mario throwing a gold fireball. The pin is only for online customers and will not be available in stores. It will ship with any version of the game that is ordered online.



In the UK, GAME and Gamestation will actually offer a gold coin cartridge case, which is also available to customers who pre-ordered the game before the promotion was announced.
