Star Wars Battlefront is slowly becoming a game worth buying. It’s a lot of fun, but was sorely lacking in content at launch. EA has been very kindly supporting the game post-launch with free updates, and has a lot in store for season pass holders as well. Considering the game has seen a pretty attractive price reduction, I’m thinking it might just be time to jump in. If you have SW Battlefront , have been out of the loop, and are wondering what you can look forward to, EA has released a new trailer (embedded below) titled “Get Back Into the Battle” showcasing some of the new content coming in an impending update.
The trailer boasts of new maps, a couple of co-op missions, and Hutt contracts. The Hutt contracts haven’t been detailed; we’re not sure if this will be a separate game mode or not. My instinct is that this will be something similar to daily challenges. It might look like a list of mini-objectives that you have to complete in order to unlock a new weapon – get this many kills in this game mode, secure this many objectives, etc. Expect all of this, plus some new gear, for free in the near future. More content is also on the way this month as part of the Outer Rim paid DLC.
